Hurley

Hurley International was established in 1979 in Costa Mesa, California, and initially manufactured surfing equipment – world’s best surfers tamed waves on their surfboards. In the early 1980s, founder and owner Bob Hurley decided to expand his business, began to cooperate with the Australian company Billabong and market their surfing apparel on the American market, and a few years later became the Billabong license holder for the USA. Having realized that, in addition to waves, a modern surfer likes snow, skateboarding, music and art, Bob and his team began to manufacture their own sport apparel in the 1990s. Sport, music, art and freedom of movement became the main guidelines for brand development and Hurley boardshorts became widely popular. In addition to skateboarders and surfers, many punkers wore Hurley apparel, including the members of the punk band blink-182. Today, Hurley collections of men’s and women’s lifestyle clothes and footwear for the young, in line with the latest global trends, are supplemented with Hurley purses and accessories.
