DVS

DVS is a cult American skate company founded in 1995, in Los Angeles, by Kevin Dunlap and Tim Gavin, skaters and skateboarding equipment shop owners. They wanted to create a brand of shoes specifically designed for skate riding with a simple motto: Skaters for Skaters. Kevin and Tim initially designed men's shoes for skateboarding, but soon expanded their line with shoes for women and children as well. The models were no longer intended just for skateboarding, i.e. DVS began producing sandals and wake shoes as well. Today, DVS has its own collection of clothing and, along with the equipment for skaters, it also produces equipment for snowboarding, surfing, motocross and auto racing. Its success is founded on high quality innovative products and marketing, the essentials of which include loyalty and strong relationships with the company’s work team.
