Palladium

The timeless design of Palladium boots, the so-called Pampas, dates back to 1947. Today, they are a real must-have for all those who know what a real boot is. The first series was produced for the soldiers serving in the Foreign Legion in Algeria and Morocco, who needed stable, long-lasting footwear that would defy the heat of the African soil. Palladium devised spiked soles made of rubber, the same type that was used several years before to produce aircraft tires, which easily tamed the scorching hot sand under the feet of the French soldiers. Over the years, the technology and materials increased in quality, so that present-day Pampas are made from top quality leather and first class fabrics.
